There were many things he pictured himself growing up to be. A failure wasn't one of them.
And his 5th grade English teacher, the one who had made him memorize Proverbs during moral science hour, forgot to tell him the real truth (the kind that they censor out of text books), when he graduated to 6th grade -that sometimes when one door closes, there is no other door. You just stay trapped.
